The Great Community Give is an initiative of The Community Foundation. It is a giving day event that gives you the opportunity to sponsor and donate to your favorite local nonprofits. Great Community Give – A community wide giving day for local partner nonprofit organizations, April 17, 2024 from 6:00am to 8:00pm. All online donations this day will be through www.greatcommunitygive.org and/or given directly via cash and check gifts. All donations are tax-deductible. Help make Harrisonburg and Rockingham County's biggest day of giving successful. Show your love on April 17th (sunrise to sunset) by giving a little—and together, we’ll do a lot for the causes we care about. In celebration of 7 years of local giving, we are lowering the minimum donation from $10 to $7! Whether you donate $7, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more, it adds up to an incredible day of support for the nonprofits that meet needs, enrich our lives, and build a community we all enjoy.
