Students from James Madison University assisted local nonprofits prepare for The Great Community Give on March 22. Senior Communications majors from JMU created a social media workshop to train nonprofits, as well as developed a communications training website, to serve as resources for the local nonprofit community. The workshop was coordinated by The Community Foundation, and led by JMU students, to address needs of local nonprofits to increase social media marketing skills. Participants ranged from those with beginner to intermediate skill level. We were thrilled to have these JMU students volunteer their time to help nonprofits prepare for The Great Community Give!
