How does my organization benefit from the Prize Dollars?

Participating nonprofit organizations are eligible for hourly prizes given by The Community Foundation Great Community Give prize pool. Thanks to our most generous sponsors!

Ways To Benefit From The Prizes:

All prizes will be determined based on donations received through the Click and Pledge platform on the GreatCommunityGive website.

A nonprofit may win up to three different prizes, one Leaderboard, one PowerHour and one Golden Ticket. If a nonprofit has been awarded a PowerHour prize, they will be removed from contention for additional PowerHour prizes. Likewise, if a nonprofit has received a Golden Ticket prize, they will not be eligible for additional Golden Ticket prizes. Only nonprofits with 100% board member participation are eligible for the Board Member Prize.

In the event a nonprofit wins two leaderboard prizes at the same level (Example: both 2nd place prizes), the nonprofit will receive the prize for Most Dollars Raised.

In the event a nonprofit wins two different level leaderboard prizes (Example: 1st place Most Dollars Raised and 2nd place Most Donors), the nonprofit will receive the higher prize.

As with all grants awarded by the Foundation, incentive prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.

In the event of a tie for an incentive prize, the prize amount will be evenly split among the organizations that tie.
